Hospice of Charleston Appoints Manager of Hospice Inpatient Center
Mount Pleasant, SC --- Hospice of Charleston-a Gentiva company announced the appointment of Carolyn "Sue" Hartnett, RN as Manager-Clinical Practice of their state of the art Hospice Inpatient Center. Dr. Angus Baker and Dr. R. Scott Lake are the Medical Directors of the 20 bed in-patient facility of Hospice of Charleston.
Prior to this appointment, Sue worked various positions as Interim Chief Nursing Officer and Director of ED/ICU/PCU at East Cooper Medical Center, Manager of ICU at Roper Hospital and most recently as Clinical Documentation Specialist at East Cooper Medical Center.
Hartnett Holds more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, her responsibilities have included managing and directing a staff of 60 professional nurses and technicians, performance improvement (PI), financial and operational management. Rosina Feagin, Branch Director stated, "Having Sue join our team gives Hospice of Charleston a tremendous advantage, Sue has been connected to medical professionals of East Cooper for years and she is an asset to our organization and the community."
She graduated from Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing – Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She is professionally affiliated with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), Carolina Clinical Documentation Group and the South Carolina Hospital Association.
