Bereavement Services

When death intervenes, Hospice of Charleston provides a bereavement service. This program is designed to help loved ones get through the most difficult months after a death. Bereavement Staff provide grief support to family members and significant others. The staff assists the family in returning to the mainstream of daily living. Services include grief support, telephone, and mail contact, volunteer support, referral to community services, a lending library, and a children’s grief program. For more information, please call 843-529-3100 and schedule a time to meet with our Coordinator of Bereavement Services.
